This week, we focused on Hope, collecting items that bring hope and nourishment to families in need: canned meals, pasta, rice, soup, and sauces. In doing so, our students are putting the Corporal Works of Mercy into action by feeding the hungry and supporting our community with love.
Next week, we turn our hearts toward Peace, inviting families to send items that bring comfort and warmth: oatmeal, cereal, peanut butter, coffee, and tea.
Thank you for helping our school shine Christ’s light this Advent season!

As we continue our Advent journey, this message becomes even more meaningful. Advent prepares us to welcome Christ, who drew near to those most in need. When we extend compassion, patience, and generosity to others, we become Christ for one another — offering His light in moments where it is needed most.
This month, may we keep our hearts open to those who may be carrying visible or unseen burdens. Small acts of care can lift others up and remind them they are not alone.
Thank you for joining us in learning about and living out the teachings that guide our faith and our schools.

As we journey through Advent and prepare our hearts for Christmas, we invite our school families to pray the Stations of the Crib together.
We’ve created a simple, prayerful slideshow that walks you through each station, helping children reflect on the story of Jesus’ birth in a meaningful and gentle way. Please click here for the Slideshow.
We hope this brings peace, reflection, and a sense of togetherness to your family during this holy season. ✨
Blessings on your Advent journey! 🌟

First Sunday of Advent – Hope
Gospel Verse: Matthew 24:37-44
Jesus tells his disciples that the coming of the Son of Man will catch many people unprepared. Jesus tells his disciples that they are to always be ready for the day of the Lord.

This candle reminds us of God’s enduring promise and the deep hope we hold in the coming birth of Jesus Christ, the Light of the World. As we hear in Scripture:
“The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light” - Isaiah 9:2
Hope is the light that guides us—renewing our spirits, strengthening our faith, and inviting us to trust fully in God’s faithfulness.
We invite you to watch our Advent Week 1 video and join us in prayerful preparation as we journey toward welcoming the birth of our Saviour. https://youtu.be/TLmvfLMiO68
