During Black History Month, we honour the life and witness of St. Josephine Bakhita, a woman of profound faith, resilience, and compassion.
Once enslaved, she later became a religious sister whose life reflected forgiveness, humility, and unwavering trust in God.
“May her example inspire us to carry our cross and to love always.”
At Lakeland Catholic, we are reminded that faith and action go hand in hand, and that compassion, dignity, and hope must guide all we do.

On Thursday, January 30th, our Grade 4's took advantage of the beautiful winter weather and enjoyed an afternoon at the tube park at Kinosoo Ridge Ski Hill. Cheeks were rosy, smiles were wide and hearts were full as we took in the fresh air and enjoyed our time outdoors.
