After reflecting on The Common Good, we have turned our hearts toward Solidarity—a reminder of Christ’s call to stand with one another in compassion, unity, and shared hope.
In this teaching, we remember that we are one family in Christ, strengthened when we walk together.

Priority 1 & 2: In October, Mrs. Mac’s kinder students began to explore how God created the earth and how they can use their five senses to explore the world around them. They went outside to investigate God’s creations right in our own school yard using magnifying glasses and other tools.

Priority 1 and Priority 2: As Mrs. Mac’s Kinders began to explore our faith theme for November, Solidarity, students coloured poppies to create our class wreath for our school Remembrance Day ceremony. They learned that working together to create something special to honour our fallen veterans who fought in solidarity for peace and freedom is an important tradition thatHoly Cross students participate in each year.
Fire drill notice:

On behalf of the children's Sacramental Preparation team for St. Dominic and Our Lady of the Assumption parishes is sharing the good news that registration for the 2026-2027 cohort is now open!

Today we pray

🌺 Remembrance Day | November 11
Today, we remember and honour all who have served, and those who continue to serve, in the pursuit of peace and justice.
We hold their courage, sacrifice, and legacy in our hearts.
"The fruit of righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever."
— Isaiah 32:17
Lest we forget.
