Priority 1 and Priority 2: As Mrs. Mac’s Kinders began to explore our faith theme for November, Solidarity, students coloured poppies to create our class wreath for our school Remembrance Day ceremony. They learned that working together to create something special to honour our fallen veterans who fought in solidarity for peace and freedom is an important tradition thatHoly Cross students participate in each year.

Today we pray

🌺 Remembrance Day | November 11
Today, we remember and honour all who have served, and those who continue to serve, in the pursuit of peace and justice.
We hold their courage, sacrifice, and legacy in our hearts.
"The fruit of righteousness will be peace; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever."
— Isaiah 32:17
Lest we forget.

Priority 2: Earlier this fall, Kinder students took their writing to the sidewalk and explored using chalk to make messages.
Just a reminder their is no school on Monday, November 10th or Tuesday, November November 11th.

Priority 2: Mrs. Mac’s Kinders explored pumpkins on Halloween. We measured their height, drew pictures of them, learned about the different parts, estimated the number of seeds, and then worked with partners to scoop out the seeds so that we will be able to make roasted pumpkin seeds to try next week

Tomorrow is a regular instructional Friday across Lakeland Catholic schools.
We look forward to seeing our students and staff in class.

C 36 is running about 10 min late to school this morning.

Priority 2: Kinder students have started investigating the alphabet and have been drawing and labeling objects that begin with each letter as they learn them.
Priority 2: Kinders are hard at play and when we play we are problem solving, communicating, imagining, experimenting, exploring, learning and sharing.

Growing Together Through Change
Lakeland Catholic support staff came together for a professional learning session on Understanding the Change Process.
The session explored change through both individual and organizational lenses, emphasizing how faith, collaboration, and compassion guide growth within our schools.
Through reflection and shared learning, staff reaffirmed that positive change strengthens our ability to serve Lakeland Catholic's students — and one another — with grace and purpose as we prepare for their return.
