Last week every student got to make Salvation Bracelets.
A Salvation Bracelet is a special bracelet used as a simple and meaningful way to share the story of God's love. Each colored bead on the bracelet represents a part of this story:
Black bead: Reminds us of our sins, the things we do wrong that separate us from God.
Red bead: Symbolizes the blood of Jesus, who died on the cross to forgive our sins.
White bead: Shows that through believing in Jesus, our hearts are cleansed and we can have a fresh start.
Blue bead: Represents Baptism, our choice to follow Jesus.
Green bead: Reminds us to grow in our relationship with God through prayer, reading the Bible, and following His commandments.
Yellow bead: Represents Heaven, reminding us of God's promise that we can live forever with Him.
By wearing this bracelet, we remember what Jesus has done for us, strengthen our faith, and easily share the good news of God’s love with others.
6IL has been working on poetry over the past week. They have focused on different forms and on how capitalization, punctuation and word choice impact a poem greatly.
